The work is too much, the criminals too many.
This morning I set out on an 800km trip. I branched by a filling station and found the litre price is N150, unlike during the last scarcity when they used to write N87 but sell at a higher rate, when they were still afraid of DPR under Mr. President's Ministry of Petroleum.
Well, determined on my trip, I bought the fuel and took off. Then I made the following post on my wall:
"Can Someone pls give me a viable DPR gsm number? I have been calling their number without response.
"Our PMB is becoming demystified gradually by civil servants and marketers even as he is the Minister of Petroleum.
"Finally, Gombe DPR picked the phone and the respondent gave his excuses: government wants to remove subsidy this month so "people don't know what to do. That's why there is shortage."
"I asked him whether it is now officially allowed by the DPR for filling stations to sell at N150 boldly written on their meters. He said, "No no no. In the whole fo Gombe office, we are just 11 staff. We have only one vehicle and one driver who is sick. So we can't be everywhere. You can all our Lagos office and tell them."
"I thanked him for his answer."
